The present invention relates to a DNA vaccine for the purpose of effective prevention and treatment of AIDS, and to increase the expression rate in mammals based on the consensus sequence on the widely distributed type B HIV-1 virus nucleotide sequence. DNA vaccines and recombinant adenovirus vaccine compositions comprising codon modified antigen genes and immune modulators. The vaccine composition is composed of the structural proteins of the AIDS virus (gag, env, pol), the initial regulatory proteins (rev, tat, nef) genes, and the human antigenic antigens (vif, vpx, vpu) of the AIDS virus. It is possible to induce a wide range of immune responses to cope with various variants. |
