Neutralized with hydroxide or quaternary ammonium carbonate to convert to tertiary amine and water, while the quaternary ammonium hydroxide or quaternary ammonium carbonate is converted to quaternary ammonium salt,n n n (2) A method for producing a high purity quaternary ammonium salt, wherein the produced tertiary amine and water are removed out of the system.
