abstract |
Provided are methods for sufficiently decomposing and reducing plant residues in a short period of time, bacteria for use in the method, and materials for decomposing and reducing plant residues containing the bacteria. In particular, bacteria which have the ability to decompose and reduce plant residues sufficiently and stably under natural conditions are identified and used for the decomposition and reduction of plant residues. A material containing a cell or cell culture of Bacillus / Pmilus KS-C4 strain (FERM BP-10842) having the ability to decompose and reduce plant residues is introduced into the plant residues. |
