Compositions and Methods of Inhibiting Endometrial Proliferation |
abstract |
The main subject of the present invention relates to the field of hormone therapy. More specifically, the subject matter relates to methods of treating estrogen related diseases such as endometrial cancer and endometrial dysplasia in women treated with estrogens and / or selective estrogen receptor modulators (SERMs). The invention also relates to the inhibition of endometrial proliferation. The invention also relates to the treatment of pain associated with endometritis. Compositions comprising estrogen antagonists and implementing the methods are also described. Embodiments of the present invention also describe methods for identifying new selective estrogen receptor modulators for practicing the described therapeutic methods. |
