A method for recovering valuable metals from ITO scraps, which is recovered as metal indium by electrolyzing ITO scraps. Electrolyte ITO scrap in an electrolytic cell partitioned with a diaphragm or ion exchange membrane, and then extract the analyte once, remove the tin contained in the analyte by neutralization or substitution, and then remove the tin. A method for recovering valuable metals from ITO scrap, which is subjected to electrolysis in order to selectively recover metal indium, or a solution of In and Sn in an ITO electrolytic cell, and after removing Sn in this liquid, the In is recovered in a recovery tank. Provided is a method for efficiently recovering metal indium from ITO scraps such as indium tin oxide (ITO) sputtering targets or ITO cuts generated during manufacture. |
