titleOfInvention | Manufacturing method of liquid crystal display and liquid crystal display |
abstract | SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION One object of the present invention is to more precisely control the arrangement of spacers in a liquid crystal display device and to prevent display defects due to inappropriate placement in the display area. It is also an object of the present invention to provide a liquid crystal display device having higher image quality and reliability and a technique for producing a better yield. In the liquid crystal display device, a liquid repellent treatment is performed in the discharge region of the spherical spacer in order to lower the wettability to the liquid in which the spherical spacer is dispersed. The liquid (droplets) is dried while moving the spherical spacer to the liquid center without being wetted by the liquid repellent region. Therefore, the position shift immediately after the discharge caused by the uncontrollability in the liquid can be corrected by moving the spherical spacer in accordance with the drying of the liquid.n n n n Liquid Crystal Display, Liquid Repellent, Globular Spacer, Inkjet, Organic Silane |
