Many organic sunscreens have been reported to lose efficacy upon exposure to UV radiation. In addition, some organic sunscreens are known to interact with one another upon application to the skin with or without exposure to UV radiation. Thus, such compositions are not stable. It is not very effective at blocking UV rays after a few hours or hours after the product is applied to the skin. In addition, upon exposure to sunlight or UV rays after using such a composition, the period of time during which the skin is substantially protected is very short, but the consumer mistakenly assumes that the composition protects the skin. This misconception can cause consumers to do more damage to their skin by exposing themselves to more sunlight. The solution to the problem is (a) a complex of a first paramagnetic metal ion and a first organic sunscreen; And (b) a second organic sunscreen.n n n Paramagnetic Metal Ions, Organic Sunscreens, Complexes |
