The present invention relates to 2- (substituted-amino) -benzothiazole sulfonamide compounds and derivatives, use as protease inhibitors, in particular broad spectrum HIV protease inhibitors, methods for their preparation, and pharmaceutical compositions and diagnostic kits comprising the same . The invention also relates to the combination of the present 2- (substituted-amino) -benzothiazole sulfonamide compounds and derivatives with another anti-retroviral agent. It further relates to its use as reference compound or reagent in an assay. |
