titleOfInvention An oral formulation comprising sodium phosphate
abstract An oral formulation comprising sodium phosphate salts coated with a polymer is provided to allow the sodium phosphate salts to be decomposed in a stomach or intestine and remove an unpleasing taste of the sodium phosphate salts to facilitate dosage of the oral formulation for patients. An oral formulation is formed as granules or pellets comprising at least one sodium phosphate salt and a pharmaceutically allowable carrier. The granules or pellets are coated with pharmaceutically allowable polymer for coating. The oral formulation is dispersed in water when a patient takes the oral formulation. The polymer is selected from the group consisting of hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, methyl cellulose, hydroxyethyl cellulose(HEC), carboxylmethyl cellulose sodium(Na-CMC), povidone(PVP) and polyethylene glycols(PEGs).
