abstract |
The present invention relates to a beta carotene biosynthesis fusion polynucleotide comprising a self-cleaved 2A sequence and a transgenic plant using the same. And it relates to a transgenic plant using the same. The fusion polynucleotide of the present invention and the recombinant vector using the same have the effect of stably expressing phytoene synthase and carotene unsaturated enzyme in transformed cells. Therefore, the fusion polynucleotide of the present invention can be used not only for the regulation of metabolic processes of plants for beta carotene biosynthesis, but also for the purpose of enhancing the content of beta carotene, which is a useful metabolite. |
