Potato Transformed with Dehydroascorbate Reductase Gene from the Hairy Root of Sesame Seeds |
abstract |
The present invention provides a potato transformed with dehydroascorbate reductase gene isolated from sesame hairy root to increase the vitamin C content of potatoes, and (1) dehydroascorbate isolated from hairy root of sesame. Preparing a vector comprising a reductase gene; (2) transforming Agrobacterium tumefaciens with the vector; (3) transforming potato tissue with the transformed Agrobacterium tumefaciens; (4) cultivating the transformed potato tissue, and the method for producing a transformed potato comprising the step of separating the potato transformed with the dehydroascorbate reductase gene isolated from the hairy root of sesame seeds. When the potato according to the present invention is increased in the content of vitamin C in the leaves, the resistance to external stress is increased, the growth can be improved and grow in a harsh environment, the intake is increased when the content of vitamin C in the tubers It can also give people more vitamin C. |
