abstract A composition comprising a cord blood multipotent stem cell-derived protein is provided to contribute to develop therapeutic agent of disease associated with the growth and breeding of skin cell, disease associated with inflammation, and HIV(human immunodeficiency virus). The antiviral composition comprises a cord blood multipotent stem cell-derived protein selected from (i) IGF-1(Insulin-like growth factor-1) or IGF-2 which stimulates the growth of cell and collagen synthesis, (ii) MIP-1alpha(monocyte inflammatory protein-1- alpha), MCP-1(monocyte chemotactic peptide-1), RANTES(regulated upon activation), IP-10(interferoninducible protein-10) or IL-8(interleukin-8) which is associated with anti-inflammation, and (iii) MCP-1(monocyte chemotactic peptide-1), RANTES, MIP-1alpha(monocyte inflammatory protein-1-alpha) or IP-10(interferoninducible protein-10) which increases resistance against HIV infection.
