The present invention relates to a method for purifying RNA, comprising contacting an acidic pH solution containing an RNA containing sample with 1 M kosmotropic salt on a solid support, thereby binding RNA to the solid support. . According to the present invention, the RNA yield is high and the degree of DNA contamination is low and RNA is purified efficiently. In particular, the present invention is effective for purifying small RNAs of 200 nucleotides (nt) or less. |
