abstract The present invention relates to 4-bromo-2- (4-chlorophenyl) -5- (trifluoromethyl) -1H-pyrrole-3-carbonitrile or salts thereof, which provides an improved protective effect against fouling organisms. It relates to a combination of biologic compounds. More particularly, the present invention provides 4-bromo-2- (4-chlorophenyl) -5- (trifluoromethyl) -1H-pyrrole-3- at each ratio to provide a synergistic effect against fouling organisms. Carbonitrile or salts thereof with (4-isopropyl-pyridinio) methyldiphenylboron, triphenylboron pyridine, benzalkonium chloride, capsaicin, clonidine, phenazaquine, glutaric dialdehyde, menadione sodium bisulfite, Menadione piperazine bisulfite, menadione triaminetriazine bisulfite, menthol or its derivatives, N, N-bis (3-aminopropyl) dodecylamine, coco (fractionated) benzyl-dimethylammonium chloride, peracetic acid, A composition comprising a combination of one or more biocide compounds selected from pyridaben, tebufenpyrad and josteric acid, and the use of these compositions to protect substances from fouling organisms.
