titleOfInvention | Caypatt3 gene derived from red pepper plants involved in the defense response and growth process of plants and its use |
abstract | According to one aspect of the invention, the present invention relates to CaBtf3 (Capsicum annuum basic transcription factor 3) gene derived from red pepper plants having a nucleotide sequence encoding the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 2. Specifically, it relates to CaBtf3 gene involved in the defense response and developmental process of pepper plants pathogens.n n n According to the present invention, cDNA clones encoding Btf3 were isolated from red pepper plants using cDNA microarrays, and the virus-induced gene silencing (VIGS) technology was used to participate in leaf growth and organ development. In addition, by revealing that the Btf3 gene of pepper plants induces disease resistance to TMV and Xcv, it is expected that the use of these genes may increase the defensive response of pepper plants and promote plant growth. |
