abstract The present invention relates to a heat shrinkable polyester film excellent in shrinkage finish and a method for producing the same.n n n The heat-shrinkable polyester film of the present invention is prepared from a composition consisting of 35 to 90 mol% of ethylene terephthalate repeating units, 5 to 40 mol% of 2-methylpropylene terephthalate repeating units, and 5 to 25 mol% of butylene terephthalate repeating units. The heat shrinkable polyester film has a heat shrinkage rate of 30% or more in any direction selected from the longitudinal direction or the transverse direction, and a heat shrinkage rate of the orthogonal direction with respect to the direction is 30% or less, thereby changing the container after heat shrinkage, It is excellent in shrinkage finish because there are no flaws such as end folding, shrinkage, wrinkles after shrinkage, warping and end bowing.
