A method of forming a vehicle trim member is disclosed. The method includes positioning a decorative element inside a mold, forming a substrate and coupling the substrate to the decorative element, and demolding the vehicle trim member. Forming the substrate comprises injecting a first liquid resin material (e.g. isocyanate) and a second liquid resin material (polyol) into the mixing head to form a mixed resin material and mixing the interior of the mold and for the decorative element.
