abstract A surgical system for performing satellite surgery is presented. This system includes an elongated body 23 having a proximal end 22 that is formed to be inserted into the esophagus and extends from the body orifice. The working member 24 includes a pair of elongated suction cavities that capture and ablate portions of the dislocation gastric and posterior gastric walls and apply sutures to the captured tissue, which sutures are deformed upon tensioning. It serves to form the lumen.
