The present invention relates to a porous sulfur-calcium carbonate composite carrier using a polymer and a method for removing nitrogen nitrate during sulfur oxidation independent nutrient denitrification using the same, and a porous sulfur-calcium carbonate prepared by mixing a polymer of sulfur, calcium carbonate and a polymer. The composite carrier has many surface pores, a large surface area, and roughness, which facilitates the attachment of microorganisms and has an excellent effect of dissolving sulfur easily without dissolving sulfur at high temperatures. In addition, the porous sulfur-calcium carbonate composite carrier of the present invention has an excellent effect of the removal efficiency of nitrogen nitrate compared to conventional sulfur-calcium carbonate pellets in the autotrophic denitrification process using sulfur. |
