abstract |
The resulting poly- [gamma] -glutamic acid derivatives in the form of finely controlled hydrophilicity are provided. The introduction of cholesterol into poly- [gamma] -glutamic acid (PGA) provides a PGA derivative in particulate form having a particle size of 50-1,000 nm. Accordingly, it is possible to use a mixture with various biological materials (for example, pharmaceuticals) in various uses of biotechnology. It is also possible to use it as a carrier of medicines. It is also possible to apply PGA as a variety of applications in the field of nanotechnology, which is being studied recently. |
