abstract |
The present invention relates to a method for producing herbicide-resistant transformed sweet potato into which the herbicide-resistant gene bar (bialaphos resistant gene) is introduced, using the Agrobacterium transformation technique, wherein the transformed sweet potato produced according to the present invention is a herbicide. In addition to increasing resistance to biological and abiotic stress by showing resistance, the productivity of sweet potatoes is increased, and the herbicide resistance genes introduced are transgenic sweet potatoes incorporating genes that impart useful agricultural characteristics or functionality.
