The present invention corresponds to at least 10% of calcium citrate malate, RDA, in an amount that provides at least 0.18% by weight dissolved calcium level of the food product and at least 0.7% by weight total acid level of the product. Food comprising an amount of vitamin D, one or more minerals in an amount corresponding to at least 10% or more of the RDA of each trace mineral provided and an amount of stabilized buffer protein component in an amount corresponding to at least 0.1% by weight of the product Provide the product. Also provided are methods of forming calcium and mineral enriched products utilizing stabilized acidification buffered protein components. |
