abstract Strip fixtures and skull plugs used to reattach a skull flap removed during brain surgery and methods of use are provided. The strip fixture is flexible and can be shaped to follow the outer circumference of the skull flap. The skull plug can be used to reattach the skull flap, which can be installed after the skull flap is reattached using a strip fixture. In some embodiments, the skull plug (s) and strip fixtures may be installed at the same time.
