The present invention relates to methods for replicating nucleic acids and novel artificial base pairs. The replication reaction of the nucleic acid of the present invention is a group selected from the group consisting of an amino group, a methylamino group, a dimethylamino group, a melcapto group and a fluoro group in the replication reaction, wherein a hydroxyl group of phosphoric acid at the γ position is substituted. It is characterized by using cleoside 5'-triphosphate as a substrate. The novel artificial base pair of the present invention is a 7- (2-thienyl) -imidazo [4,5-b] pyridine (Ds) or an analog thereof, and pyrrole-2-carbaldehyde (Pa) or an analog thereof And base pairs are formed. |
