abstract |
A method of causing a change in the cellular process of a target cell is disclosed. The method involves changing the intracellular pH value in at least a portion of the cell by contacting the target cell with a solid buffer, causing a change in the cellular process of the target cell in a multicellular organism. This method can be used to kill eukaryotic or prokaryotic cells. Also included are pharmaceutical compositions and devices. |
