It has now been found that human kinase cleaves human SLPI at specific sites, which cleavage can be used as an indicator of kinase activity. The present invention provides methods for diagnosing a kinase-related disease or evaluating the therapeutic efficiency of a kinase-related disease in human subjects by measuring SLPI processing, and other related methods and compositions. |
