abstract |
A gas-phase process for polymerizing one or more α-olefins in the presence of a polymerization catalyst in a fluidized bed reactor, the fluidized bed reactor having a fluidized grid arrangement at its base and an unreacted gas from the top of the reactor to the fluidized grid. An external means for circulating and cooling the device is installed, the method comprising the following steps:n n n (Iii) continuous air recycle of the polymer by a circulation loop connecting the fluidization grid to the top of the fluidized bed reactor;n n n (Ii) continuous discharge of the polymer from the region of the circulation loop having a polymer concentration higher than the polymer concentration inside the fluidized polymer layer. |
