abstract |
A method of making an article having a watermark that diffracts radiation according to Bragg's law is disclosed. The watermark includes a periodic array of particles immobilized in the matrix. The watermark may change color depending on the viewing angle, disappear and reappear according to the viewing angle, or may diffract radiation in the invisible light region at a particular angle. |
