Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a liquid crystal display device and a driving method thereof for improving display quality by preventing direct current afterimage and flicker.n n n The liquid crystal display device comprises: a liquid crystal display panel having a plurality of data lines supplied with data voltages and a plurality of gate lines supplied with gate pulses and having a plurality of liquid crystal cells; A data driving circuit supplying the data voltages to the data lines; A gate driving circuit supplying the gate pulses to the gate lines; Inverting the polarity of the data voltage in units of frame periods in frame periods other than N-1 (N is a multiple of an integer equal to or greater than 8) and the Nth frame period, and the same polarity during the N-1 and Nth frame periods. And a POL / SOE logic circuit that controls the polarity of the data voltage in a pattern and controls the output time of the data driving circuit in the Nth frame period longer than other frame periods. |
