titleOfInvention |
A method of treating nitrogen oxide-containing gas, using a composition based on zirconium oxide and praseodymium oxide as a nitrogen oxide trap |
abstract |
The present invention provides a catalyst for the oxidation of nitrogen oxides (NOx) to NO 2 , and a composition based on a compound based on zirconium oxide and praseodymium oxide comprising praseodymium oxide in a ratio of 5% to 50% by weight of oxides. It is related with the processing method of nitrogen oxide containing gas characterized by using as a trap. The oxide may further comprise cerium oxide. The method of the present invention can be used to treat exhaust gases of diesel or lean mixture gasoline internal combustion engines. |
