The present invention relates to a control method of an automatic transmission that allows shifting, in particular downshifting, with minimal interruption in traction. Reducing the drive moment of the drive engine, separating the frictional engagement in the automatic transmission, and adapting the rotational speed of the transmission input shaft to a suitable target rotational speed are at least partially designed to overlap time. In particular, when the frictional engagement in the automatic transmission is disengaged, the drive engine transmits the drive moment through the clutch to the input shaft of the automatic transmission, changing the rotational speed n_ge of the transmission input shaft towards the synchronous rotational speed of the new gear. The invention also relates to an apparatus for carrying out the method.n n n n Automatic transmission, drive engine, drive moment, friction engagement, transmission input shaft. |
