Provided are a display device capable of compensating nonuniformity of threshold voltage of a transistor, and suppressing nonuniformity of luminance, and a driving method using the same.n n n Maintain an initial voltage with a storage capacitor in the first period, maintain a voltage based on the video signal voltage and the threshold voltage of the transistor with the storage capacitor in the second period, and maintain the voltage in the second period in the second period. By applying the sustained voltage to the gate electrode of the transistor, a current is supplied to the light emitting element to emit light. By this operation process, it is possible to supply a current that compensates for the influence of the nonuniformity of the threshold voltage of the transistor to the light emitting element, thereby suppressing the nonuniformity of the luminance. |
