abstract |
The present invention relates to compositions containing platelet aggregation inhibitors such as cilostazol or salts or derivatives thereof useful for the treatment and prevention of ischemic syndrome. The present invention provides a composition comprising nanoparticulate particles containing a platelet aggregation inhibitor and at least one surface stabilizer. The nanoparticulate particles have an effective average particle size of less than about 2000 nm. The present invention also provides compositions for pulsatile or continuous delivery of platelet aggregation inhibitors, or platelet aggregation inhibitor-containing nanoparticles. |
