In the first aspect, microorganisms capable of stimulating the growth of microorganisms in the resident skin microorganism guns and not stimulating the growth of microorganisms in transient pathogenic microorganisms are described. In a second aspect, a microorganism is described which is capable of inhibiting the growth of an organism in a transgenic pathogenic skin microorganism gun and does not inhibit the growth of microorganisms in the resident microorganism gun. Compositions comprising such microorganisms, as well as their use in cosmetic, prophylactic or therapeutic applications of such microorganisms are also described. |
