abstract In the hold display device, the problem of image blur is solved. By detecting the amount of motion of the image from the image data included in the frame and making the interpolated image an image that is in the intermediate state between the frame and the next frame, the movement of the image can follow the movement of the eye and interpolation. By changing the brightness of an image, the display can be made pseudo-imitationally close to the impulse type, and therefore, a method of driving the hold display device without the problem of image blur can be provided.
