titleOfInvention Polymorphic markers for predicting weight control associated with obesity and fat burning
abstract The present invention relates to uncoupling protein-2 (UCP-2) and noncovalent protein-3 (UCP-3) polymorphic markers associated with dietary weight changes in obese patients, specifically low calorie in obese patients It relates to monobasic polymorphisms of non-covalent protein-2 and non-covalent protein-3 associated with body mass index and fat loss by diet, and haplotypes comprising the same. By using the marker of the present invention, it is possible to determine the weight loss among the obese patients who can lose weight by diet, so that an effective weight control program can be planned and useful for genetic studies related to obesity.
