abstract |
Phosphate-phosphonate compounds having low volatility and high phosphorus content and which do not adversely affect the various properties of the product when used as a material. It does not contain any halogen atoms, including chlorine or bromine, which reduces the environmental burden in terms of recycling suitability. Phosphorus compounds contain phosphate-phosphonate bonds in one molecule and have a specific ring structure. This makes the compound excellent flame retardant. The addition of phosphate-phosphonate compounds as flame retardants to polyurethanes or polyesters provides satisfactory plasticity and flame retardancy. Flame retardants have a particularly reduced adverse effect on the physical properties of polyurethane foams and polyester foams. |
