Shaving compositions, preferably in the form of post-foamable gels, are disclosed, which compositions contain a combination of three types of lubricants. Three lubricants include (a) a lubricious water soluble polymer; (b) water insoluble particles; And (c) hydrogel-forming (or water swellable) polymers. In particular, the shaving composition is in weight percent, from about 60% to about 93%, preferably from about 70% to about 85% water, from about 2% to about 25%, preferably from about 5% to about 20% Dispersible (or soluble) surface active agent, from about 0.005% to about 2%, preferably from about 0.01% to about 0.5% of a lubricating water soluble polymer, from about 0.01% to about 3%, preferably from about 0.1% to about 1% Water insoluble particles of from about 0.0005% to about 3%, preferably from about 0.001% to about 0.5% of the hydrogel-forming polymer.
