abstract |
Copper tracks of circuit supports require a coating having good corrosion resistance as well as the ability to be soldered or bonded repeatedly to mount electronic components. These properties are achieved by a system of layers containing an intermediate layer made of nickel deposited with a magnetic catalyst, on which a layer of palladium is deposited by charge transfer. To ensure reliable adhesion, no holes and good homogeneity, the bath for depositing the palladium layer contains a copper compound. To passivate the palladium layer, the system of layers may be provided with a final layer made of gold deposited with charge transfer and / or magnetic catalysts. |
