abstract |
An object of the present invention is to provide a pharmaceutical composition for muscle degeneration and myasthenia due to motor neuron disease, progressive muscular dystrophy, congenital myasthenia and the like, and a method for producing the same. The pharmaceutical composition comprises 1-10 parts by weight of ginseng and 1-10 parts by weight of an active ingredient extracted from a traditional Chinese medicine such as trichophyte. The pharmaceutical composition halves the inhibition of the regeneration of peripheral nerves induced from serum of patients with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, promotes regeneration and recovery of damaged peripheral nerves, improves swimming endurance of laboratory animals, and improves muscle strength. It greatly enhances and can significantly inhibit the increase in creatine phosphate kinase activity and protect skeletal muscle function in muscle paralyzed rats. |
