abstract The present invention relates to aromatic substituted pentadienic acid amides, 4-alkyl-5- (substituted phenyl)-(2E), (4E) -pentadienoic acid amides, geometric isomers thereof or dihydro or tetrahydro derivatives thereof and anti-infective It relates to anti-infective drugs useful in enhancing the bioefficiency of drugs and the use in the combination of certain amounts of aromatic amides. It can be found that the combination of the present invention is useful for the treatment of certain infections and diseases at lower concentrations of anti-infective drugs necessary for inhibiting the growth of microbial strains and can be applied when reducing resistance in microorganisms.
