abstract | SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION An object of the present invention is to provide a light emitting device having high function and high reliability, which has high light emission luminance and light emission efficiency and good adhesion inside the device. It is a feature of the present invention that the refractive index, internal stress and dielectric constant are made to continuously change in the insulating layer included in the light emitting device. These properties of the film change continuously in a single layer, and the insulating layer has a gradation in the film's characteristic values (refractive index, internal stress, dielectric constant, etc.) in the film because it continuously changes the properties of the film in the single layer. Moreover, it is a structure without the interface which arises when it is set as a laminated structure. |
