abstract There is provided a phosphorescent pigment composition comprising 15.0 to 40.0 wt% of a binder resin, 15.0 to 25.0 wt% of a phosphorescent pigment, 0.1 to 5.0 wt% of a thickener, 25.0 wt% to 45.0 wt% of a form stabilizer, and a balance of water. The photoluminescent pigment is preferably a photoluminescent pigment having a chemically water-resistant surface treatment. Therefore, this photoluminescent pigment composition has high water resistance. In addition, since the components used are human-friendly and can be applied to human skin with no or mild skin toxicity, it can be suitably used as a paint for body painting. The composition is also aqueous, so it can be easily washed off with water, and is particularly suitable as a body paint as it has viscosity stability, long-term storage stability and high form stability after skin application.
