A method, device, and kit for changing the flow of air into a breathing cavity, such as the oral cavity and nasal cavity. This method and device may be useful for providing physiological benefits to patients suffering from a number of medical conditions, particularly from respiratory and non-invasive breathing devices such as COPD, heart failure, sleep apnea and other medical disorders. There may be an advantage. The device is typically a removable device that can be placed in or on the breathing cavity that increases resistance to airflow within the breathing cavity. Removable oral and removable nasal devices are described. Oral and nasal devices are also provided that filter the inhaled airflow of debris and allergens. Nose devices are also provided to increase the opening of the nose. |
