| abstract | A method and apparatus for producing and dispensing a cleaning liquid. The cleaning liquid is produced by reacting chemicals in the dispensing device. In one embodiment, the distribution device has a conduit containing a catalyst or reactant. The precursor reacts as it passes through the conduit to form a cleaning solution. This cleaning solution is stored in the tank before dispensing. In other embodiments, the dispensing device has a first portion containing the precursor used to produce the cleaning liquid, and a second portion containing one or more reactants or catalyst used to produce the cleaning liquid. During the dispensing operation, the contents of the first portion come into contact with the contents of the second portion, resulting in a chemical reaction to produce a cleaning liquid. In some embodiments, one or more portions of the dispensing device are located on a moving platform. |
