The present invention relates to an anti-obesity agent containing a peptide derivative synthesized and prepared from openulin 5 that specifically binds to human melanocortin-4-receptor (MC4R). May be useful for the discovery and analysis of melanocyte cortin-4-receptors, which play a pivotal role in appetite control and obesity induction, and is safe for the human body because it is not cytotoxic and has low hemolytic activity against human red blood cells. It can be usefully used as a prophylactic and therapeutic agent. |
