abstract |
A method of releasably enclosing a biological being is provided. The method comprises combining an solution of a surfactant in a nonpolar solvent with a precursor material and the biological presence to form an emulsion. The emulsion comprises a polar phase dispersed in a nonpolar phase, wherein the polar phase comprises the biological presence. Particles containing the biological presence are then formed from the polar phase. |
