The present invention relates to a method of operating a reversible polyphase rotating electrical machine (2) in a motor vehicle, which is incorporated into a machine (2) via a plurality of links (3). The high and low level management of the machine is performed by the remote control unit 1 which exchanges physical data with the power module 20 which is or is in close proximity. The present invention is applicable to an alternator-starter. |
