titleOfInvention Cell circulating photobioreactor and culture method of photosynthetic microorganisms using the same
abstract The present invention relates to a cell circulating photobioreactor and a method for culturing photosynthetic microorganisms using the same, and more particularly, to circulate cultured cells and a culture medium, and to supply light to a relatively small volume of culture medium while producing cell growth and useful materials. It provides a cell circulating photobioreactor and a method of culturing photosynthetic microorganisms using the reactor. Unlike the vertical cylindrical photobioreactor, which supplies constant light energy from the outside, the cell circulation photobioreactor of the present invention was manufactured by separating the reactor into a first reactor and a second reactor having different sizes, and the photosynthetic microorganisms were prepared together with the culture medium. While culturing the first reactor and the second reactor to circulate, strong light energy was supplied to the second reactor having a smaller width and size than the first reactor. In the cell circulating photobioreactor of the present invention, light does not reach above a certain depth in high concentration culture, and solves the problem that light energy is inefficiently used due to the interference effect between cells. It is useful for producing photosynthetic microorganisms and useful products produced by photosynthetic microorganisms.
