titleOfInvention Amphiphilic block copolymer-reinforced epoxy resins and room temperature cured solid-solid coatings prepared therefrom
abstract The present invention includes at least one polyether structure such that (a) the epoxy resin, (b) the cured epoxy resin composition is produced when the epoxy resin composition is cured, wherein the polyether structure is at least one alkylene jade. Amphiphilic block copolymers containing at least one epoxy resin incompatible block segment and at least one epoxy resin miscible block segment containing seed monomer units, and (c) an amount sufficient to cure the coating composition at room temperature below 60 ° C. A curable room temperature cure high-solids coating composition comprising a nitrogen-containing cure agent. Amphiphilic block copolymers are preferably all polyether block copolymers, for example PEO-PBO diblock copolymers or PEO-PBO-PEO triblock copolymers.
